Deadmau5 latest Martin Audio's Multicellular Loudspeaker Array (MLA) fought to a gym when he headlined his first outside London's Victoria Park in 2011 to 26,000 people and only artist to perform in English was fair. The London Electronic Dance (LED) and Deadmau5 after the second year of the festival's Capital Sound Hire is a client-based sound production company, promoters of the London Consortium (cream Goldenvoice, and Loudsound) was brought in by opportunity for legislators to hold up the first fire out.
Capital technical manager Ian Colville said, "We knew how the system sounded indoors, but I wanted to evaluate it outside, and see how it would fare in propagation tests. Thanks to the tight micro-control the system can be programmed to enable the sound to taper off at the site perimeter - vital in a heavy residential area such as London E9."
According to Martin Audio research & development director, Jason Baird, "There is a 75dB(A) offsite limit in Victoria Park - and that is often a tricky threshold to stay within. However, [noise consultants] Vanguardia were able to measure 105dB(A) at the mix position and 68dB(A) offsite, so the authorities were delighted. Using drawings of the site, our Display 2.1 optimisation software calculated how to minimise the sound outside of the audience area."
Capital Sound 16 legislators in the six enclosures with rigged and a below-ground leaf MLD W8LC Compact line arrays provide all the sweetness out of the corner areas to cover. Delay masts provided purely as a precaution.
